Pomegranate Martini

We love a good Pomegranate Martini but hate paying the $10+ price tag at the restaurant. Who are we kidding; we can easily toss back a few and that, my friends, isn’t a pretty bill.

Last week we rolled into Target and noticed Pomegranates were priced at only $1.99. We used the $1 text coupon (find it here) and paid just $.99! These gems usually sell for $5 each so you know what we had to do. Buy it to make our own Pomegranate Martini at home. I mean, it’s much tastier than just eating the seeds, am I right?

Making your own Pomegranate Martini at home is extremely simple. We are terrible mixed-drink makers and even we can rock this without assistance.

We’ve played around with the recipe over the years and prefer to keep it simple. Feel free to use Pomegranate flavored vodka or orange liqueur, but we keep ours nice and simple.

AND- for you cool kids, if you’re wondering where we bought our “bent stem” martini glasses you can find them on Amazon for just $3.50 each.

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients (a.k.a. “The Good Stuff”)

3 Ounces Pomegranate Juice (We prefer POM Wonderful)
1.5 Ounces Vodka
Lime Juice (optional)

Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and SHAKE vigorously. Pour into your favorite martini glass and top with a splash of lime juice. Enjoy and repeat!
